Walt Whitman's Spider Poetry

When I was a senior in high school, I competed in a poetry recitation competition, in which I had to choose three verses from different eras and recite them. In fact, the entire first stanza is full of hard Ts making the idea of the spider still intimidating and ult coming in with the second stanza to make it seem untiring and almost endearing.

That line really brings across the spiders struggle to pass its web, how quickly it must move and how often it might go but still never gives up.
